ABOUT
At LatinXCoders, we work with the youngest Latinos in the household to teach them the technical skills of tomorrow. Founded by Zaira Cruz a Latina Software Engineer, LatinXCoders focuses on teaching programming skills using games and projects that XXX enjoy.

Our program is designed for young Latinos ages 6-18 years with all levels of knowledge who are interested in building their own games while learning the ins and outs of coding!

Our goal is to empower this increasing minority group with the resources to contribute to close the racial gap in STEM education. According to the U.S Department of Education, Latinos are underrepresented in undergraduate and graduate STEM programs and are not sufficiently exposed to STEM subjects at the K-12 levels.

Our Team
Hi my name is Zaira. I am the founder and CEO of LatinXCoders.
My experiences as an immigrant and first college graduate from my family has pushed me to understand first hand the need for STEM education for minority communities.
I have worked as a professional Software Engineer for 4 years and have worked alongside a number of organizations that teach and promote programming education to elementary, middle school, and high school students.
In founding LatinXCoders, I hope to open doors for more minorities to become aware of coding skills and with it provide them more opportunities for a better future for themselves and their community.
